best place to buy a DS lite flashcart in australia?

howdy, i recently came into acquisition of a DS lite, and i'm looking to buy a relatively inexpensive flashcart (tertiary student budget lol), but the problem is that i'm not sure the best site to buy from - most recommended sites are centred towards north american or european buyers and taking currency conversion + shipping into account, that can often get pretty expensive... are there any sites catered towards an aussie market? or should i just see if i can get lucky on amazon/ebay/gumtree/etc?

edit: i appreciate the recommendation of what cart to buy, but i’m also asking where for an australian buyer

power mac G5 stuck on white screen

hello!

i recently bought what i'm 99% sure is a power mac G5 from an ewaste store - it was sold as 'working, but no OS' (they usually wipe HDDs that can't be easily removed as part of their process), so i'm trying to get tiger 10.4.5 to install. my problem is that i cannot get the machine to progress past a white screen - if i let it boot uninterrupted, it eventually flashes the question mark folder icon, if i hold down the options key, a cursor eventually shows up but nothing happens from there, and if i attempt to boot into OpenFirmware, nothing happens (i've tried holding down the keys for up to a few minutes)

- it does take a while for the cursor or folder icon to appear - at least a minute, but i'm not sure if that's just its age or a sign of something else

- i've tried holding down the keys before and after the chime, no difference

- i've burned the iso to a DVD, and it's spinning in the drive/not getting rejected, but it will eventually stop spinning after it sits on the white screen for long enough

- my keyboard is a wired ~2010-something apple one, and i know it's registering as the mouse plugged in its USB port is lighting up

- i've tried resetting the PRAM, which worked(?) but did not change anything

- i have not yet opened it up to check the boards/capacitors (i have the tools and experience to but with my current living situation it would be a last resort kind of thing - i just don't really have the room!) and i don't have easy access to a soldering kit

- i have a G4 powerbook but its disc drive does not work and its OS X install is in a bit of a state, i'm not sure if i can use firewire to do anything with that?

- i also have a 2012 macbook pro which does have a functional disc drive - would i be able to do anything with that + firewire either?

- the speakers are... very functional. i would apologise to my neighbours for the several startup chime noises in the span of 10 minutes but i don't like them

essentially - i'm not familiar enough with power PC macs to be sure what the issue is or where the failure might be, and would appreciate any advice!

Can't deny DNS through the web portal

https://preview.redd.it/v8jdcqhbat3h1.png?width=1115&format=png&auto=webp&s=30046afe35454f93725d037515bda40a85d8cc1a

Hi, just installed Pihole on a machine running Ubuntu; I've pointed my router to use it as the DNS server and I know it's up and running because I can access the web portal & see live updates and load pages on my devices etc. However, whenever I try to deny anything in the 'Recent queries' tab, it simply responds with 'Timeout or Network Connection Error'. I'm not sure what this is referring to and I can't find any information online!

I've also tried to manually force the block through the terminal, but that also doesn't seem to work, albeit I get no error messages (or output at all).

Thanks in advance...

EDIT: It seems to work when I update Gravity, but will still randomly fail from time to time - however, updating Gravity and reloading the portal seems to consistently fix it.

it's primarily bugfixes - player character skin reverting to quote when using the teleporter, some achievement and camera weirdness etc - but most excitingly, the holidays achievement now (finally) has an icon!!

(to head off any comments: still no news on a public release, release to other platforms/storefronts, or workshop support)

i have an older CF-19 (unsure what exact model, old enough to have a vista product key on the base) that my sister found at an e-waste store and gave to me - the only charger i could find that fit was a 12V output, when it expects 16V

while it POSTs, can load the BIOS, and i've even installed an operating system (linux mint) to an SSD... it will not power on at all if the battery is installed, nor will it wake from sleep, but it seems to perform 'fine' on AC

if i install the battery after it boots to desktop, it detects its presence but repeatedly gives a warning that my battery is 'discharging', i've not left it long enough to see if the battery % goes up above 0%

- attempting to power on with the battery installed just flashes the battery LED red

- attempting to wake from sleep with the battery installed has no response, the power LED blinks green; if i remove the battery and hold the power button it'll wake itself back up

i'm not sure where the issue lies - if it's my charger's insufficient wattage, if the battery itself is dead or needs something done to it to revive it? i don't really have any use case for it (some of the port covers broke off anyway), so if it has to live its life on AC that's fine, but it would be nice if i could get battery power working
