Pickles didn’t seal

I got this recipe from my aunt who has used it for years and years. She tells me that the jars do not need to seal, in fact, she does not boil her water vinegar mixture in recent years and just pours it on cold. I boiled my mixture, poured it on and capped with hot lids some jar sealed, and some did not. Would you feel safe keeping these in your cold cellar even if they did not seal?

Help! Too many zucchini!

Looking for recommendations to use up zucchini! I’ve got us well stocked with zucchini relish, and way too much shredded in the freezer for winter cooking and baking. Please share your favourite recipes!

Also. Has anyone tried freezing diced zucchini to use in stir fry later?

Returning from maternity leave while breastfeeding

Looking for some input as I prepare return to work. I’ll be returning to the salon 2 days a week. My baby will be 7 months old and is currently exclusively breastfed and will be attending our local daycare. I know I will have to pump every 3 hours while at work. Can anyone who has done this share a little about their experience.

I’m honestly currently wondering if financially it makes sense to return to work as I chair rent and will have so much down time for having to pump.

Discard recipe recommendations.

I have a quart jar nearly full of discard on the fridge. I’m looking for some recipes that use a large amount of discard and are also DAIRY FREE. Please share your favourites!
