Was first one to get to customs off the plane this morning. I and the unrelated person behind me were asked if we were GE, had to place our stuff through the scanner and give the officer our passports. At the end he noted down the number on a scrap of paper and handed them back to us.
Just wondering what the need was to jot down our passport numbers?

..is this the dreaded over-nannying that people have been posting about?
First time this has happened in 3 months of ownership - on the highway my C4 (Sunnypilot) suddenly started wanting to steer me to the left regardless of what was to the left (another lane, car or the barrier). I switched LKAS off then back on again - same deal. Then off/on again and it went into recalibration mode by itself which fixed it.
I found this all rather alarming as it’s been 100% reliable and trustworthy up to today.
Has anyone experienced anything like this?
A couple of houses down from Santiago’s Bodega yesterday a home owner (of a rather dilapidated home with an assortment of junk outside) was sitting on his porch 5-6pm with an enormous speaker on full blast, like he was either DJing for the entire neighborhood or doing a Tony Soprano to back out of a home purchase.
It was on when we arrived for our meal and on after we’d finished. I’m guessing this wasn’t a one off for him.
Is this sort of thing considered socially acceptable down here outside of Duval? It wasn’t night time for sure but still must be awful for the nearby residents of the otherwise peaceful neighborhood if they have to put up with that racket regularly.
