Situation: (1st time H4 Visa Stamping)

H4 Biometric: May 12th

H4 Consular: June 5th

I completed my biometric/ofc/vac appointment on May 12. After that my husband's I-797 has changed. Do I just show up with the updated DS-160 and old DS-160 on day of Consulate Appointment?

US H4 Visa Appointment
I completed my Biometrics for H4 a week ago and have my Consular appointment on June 4th. My husband was laid off and he will have a new I-797 by June 2nd and I do plan on submitting a new DS-160. My questions are:

1. How do I update it in the system?
2. DS-160 doesn't ask for start and end date of BUT the US Visa Booking process does ask that information. How to update it there? Since the start and end date are also going to change based on new petition.

My spouse was laid off May 1st and is currently is on his 60 day Grace period. However he has found a new job and they have already filed his LCA. I plan to attend the biometric with the old DS-160 (which has old I-797 number). Spouse plans to start employment on Receipt Notice once filed in Premium and I will be updating the DS-160 with the latest Receipt number (since that doesn't change on an approved I-797)

My Question for Worse Case Scenario: In the event that the I-797 approval notice doesn't come through by June 7th, I plan to go with receipt notice, LCA and paystub if one is available by then. Is this an acceptable approach?

Note: 1 rescheduling was used up so can't change the date unless a new payment is made.
