How can I set Mehron Clown White makeup as someone with dry skin?

How can I set Mehron Clown White makeup as someone with dry skin?

So I’m going as Pomni from TADC for a convention and I bought some Mehron clown white makeup because it was suggested as something that many professional clowns/goths use. I also have experience with this brand since I used their multi color Pallete for more than one Halloween costume, so I went with that since I know it doesn’t irritate my skin or look bad.

With Halloween I didn’t care as much so I’ve never set it, but I’m going to be at a con for 8 hours so I’ll definitely need to set it.

I have pretty dry skin though so would a powder still be okay for me or would it make the makeup look bad/cakey on me? Could I use a spray or does this makeup work better with a powder?

Any recommendations for powders/sprays? Specifically ones I could just get at my Walmart? Amazon is fine too.

This con is this Sunday so it needs to be something I can get beforehand so I can test it and make sure it works with my skin.

Don’t drink caffeine if you have OCD, I’m serious.

I’m sure this is already common knowledge but just in case, try not to drink a shit ton of caffeine if you suffer from OCD/anxiety. Caffeine did not cause my OCD but it sure did make it worse on the days I drank coffee. Especially avoid espresso, I’m serious. Some people may be able to handle it just fine, but I highly doubt most people with OCD/Anxiety are going to benefit from drinking that much caffeine on a daily basis. Not to mention some of these people take meds for the anxiety/OCD, so I also don’t think it’s a really good idea to mix in caffeine with that either, I feel like that kind of defeats the point of taking those meds. I could be wrong though.

Do most people who drink coffee not have a problem or are a lot of people just in denial?

I’m genuinely curious, is it really only a small group of people who are more sensitive to caffeine, or are a lot of these people just underestimating how much caffeine has been affecting them? Coffee addicted people online seem to think they’re the exception and that it is only the others who have a sensitivity to it. Is that true?

Most people I know who are addicted to coffee are always in a shitty mood and are always tired due to bad sleep. They all like to claim they’re somehow different and not affected by it. I can tell when my mom has had espresso.

Are alot of these people just in denial of the fact that they may be more sensitive to coffee/caffeine than they realize? I mean alot of these people never even tried to cut out coffee for a while and then see how they are off of it after a few months. So how would they know for certain that they are not one of the people who would benefit more from not having it in their system at all?

I used to think I was just sensitive to fluorescent lights back when I was in school because I used to come home with these massive migraines.

But I have been under those lights more recently while taking college courses and I realize that it doesn’t bother me or trigger a migraine at all. Infact, I have not had a true migraine since quarantine, which was around the time when I stopped drinking coffee. My mom used to pack me coffee in middle school to help with tiredness, and I would “coincidentally” get a head ache later on, and then it “somehow” stopped after I quit drinking coffee each day.

Not to say that there aren’t people who have a higher tolerance to caffeine than others, but I do wonder how many people are just not aware how much their coffee is truly affecting them. Like some of the symptoms these people complain about could easily be linked to their coffee addiction, that’s all I’m saying.

Espresso makes me really angry.

I went to a cafe with some people the other day and made the mistake of getting a latte. I’m not a coffee person so I honestly didn’t realize how much espresso was in a latte, I didn’t even know there was Espresso in it. Which is my fault, I should have looked it up, a latte is literally just espresso and steamed milk, that was completely on me for not being educated, haha.

But Jesus, I will never make the mistake of drinking espresso again. Caffeine affects my mood and can make me anxious if I drink it too late, but espresso is just a whole other level for me, it made me feel rage. Even my mom just talking to me while the espresso was in my system made me really pissed off and I felt like I was going to slap her just for talking to me.

I remember drinking a frappe a few years back from McDonald’s and finding out pretty quickly that the worker had put espresso in it despite being told not to. I was so anxious, I had to sleep it off. I don’t understand how people just casually drink that everyday, I never want to feel that way again.

I think it especially made it worse because I’m not used to drinking that much caffeine, my body is not used to that.
