Similarities to legends
the new republic soldiers are similar to their depiction, along with the use of moleminers in one of the battle scenes (or something similar) used to breach the new republic ships, unfortunately their is nightsisters in them because it is illegial to allow stormtroopers to do cool stuff apparently (unless its a non-filoni show (ignoring the one mando episode)), thrawn also has his throne back. From a big fan of the thrawn campaign and books around it this seems to be at least partislly based on it maybe with the nightsisters replacing joris s’baoth
