Clarisse and Miata are definitely the characters who moved me the most in Claymore. Clarisse's sacrifice, giving her life to save Miata, truly shook me. It's a moment that will surely stay with me for a long time. Clarisse acted like a protective and loving mother to Miata, even erasing all memories of herself from Miata's mind before disappearing, to protect her from the pain of losing this loved one. Seriously, I curled up in a corner with tears in my eyes after reading that.
