Just got a new 2026 Tucson Ultimate PHEV yesterday. Dealer is offering a premium warranty for $2,000 CAD + winter mats. Is the warranty worth it, or should I skip it? Any advice from other Tucson/PHEV owners?
I’m in Canada and considering a 2026 Hyundai Tucson PHEV that was used as a dealership service loaner. It has about 7,000 km and has been in service for around 8 months.
New Tucson PHEVs are still pretty hard to find in my area, and there isn’t much new inventory available yet, so I’m looking at this option.

Would 7,000 km on a loaner concern you?
What discount would you expect versus a brand-new one?
Any specific things I should inspect or ask the dealer about before buying?
