I upgraded a Typhon MEGA 665 with a 4274 2000kv brushless motor, 4S battery, and a Amazon 35kg servo. The pinion is 15T 0.8 while the servo is only on 6V right now until I can program the ESC. Everything else is stock.
I'd like to keep the off-road tires but is there anything else I can do to maintain traction? I feel like the steering is also very twitchy and like it's always maxing out.
Hows this combo? QUICRUN WP 8BL150 G2 esc and QR4274 SL G2 2000kv motor. I would prefer to run 2S but would like the option for 4S. I know its overkill but I think my preference would result in lower temps and component stress. Any idea what the final speed would be on 2S?
Any recommendations for a esc motor combo that would provide enough torque/speed for grass? My budget is sub $100 so I've been looking on aliexpress. Also I dont mind running 3S but would prefer 2S as I already have a 5000mah 2S lipo. What do you think about the SkyRC FuriaX Supa combos? I also plan on doing the 0.8mod for the gearing.
