how to improve the show

i feel like between this season and last season it’s way better. producers listened to the viewers by including movie night, and having the men’s shitty behavior be shown through the live stream. but i feel like im still seeing the same complaints i saw last year in this sub, that this season killed it and its not worth it anymore.

so please, put on your producer hat and tell me what you think would make viewers and yourself happier with the seasons!! or let me know if you think the fan base is so big now nothing will ever satisfy the majority.

my first thoughts:
- every year i hear complaints about “pity votes”, this show is a popularity contest etc. to prevent *some* of this they could do what big brother does, and have america also vote for their favorite islander at the end of the show along with their favorite couple.
- lots of little speed dates on the first week and don’t officially couple until a few days in; might prevent how locked in some of these couples are & give a better chance to find chemistry.
- do more dates in general, and switch off between letting the fans pick and the islanders pick. let the first dates be short and cute and the later dates be more intimate and involved.
- better background checks, it really messes with the shows momentum and plot lines to have people magically disappear halfway through the episode. not to mention fuck racists!
- sending a postcard with viewer opinions about halfway through the show, can give them some perspective
- give them a few days of a safety net if they’re single so they don’t get dumped immediately. i think that’s a big reason why people don’t want to explore. if they’re have a bit more wiggle room maybe they’ll be willing.
- they did not have as many bombshells as i’m used to, they really help keep the show moving, and they were a big reason why dates even happened bc they would take them. bring back more bombshells!! we used to be a real country.
- **NO MORE CHALLENGES WHERE THEY ARE COVERED IN FOOD AND SLIME, PLEASE!!!**
- let america vote for their favorite dumped islander to return, a way to save plot lines and fan favorites
- stop letting america put couples together!! we vote late, miss information, and end up putting people together that made sense yesterday and not today.

anyway thanks for coming to my ted talk and let’s brain storm together 🧠

other reality shows?

hey yall! i wanted to see what other reality shows people watch / are watching alongside the 90 day cinematic universe.

right now i’m attempting to keep up with love island and i wanted to see if anyone else is absurd enough like me to do the same!! i also like some of the housewives, below deck is fun, and i like watching older reality tv to get a blast from the past (rock / flavor of love, hell’s kitchen, jersey shore). i’ll watch the other tlc shows if they’re on but i don’t keep up with them.

i’m curious to see what the line of “bad” tv is for ppl! like 90DF and love island is my trash tv but i feel like secret lives of mormon lives is the line and i won’t watch that.

edit: adding married at first sight, need to watch this last season but i love that mess 🤣

when to give up on potential job

hi yall! i had a good interview about two weeks ago, but i haven’t heard anything back from them - no rejection either. my question is when do i assume that they won’t call me, and start getting back to the application grind?

i called about a week after the interview to check in, i guess there is some high priority behind the scenes stuff going on where they couldn’t give me a concrete answer but they did not reject me. idk the more time that passes without knowing, the more i’m starting to panic. am i being an anxious tool? or do i have cause for concern?

i thought maybe a week of applying casually and then if i dont hear anything i just start the app grind again… 🫩

laura’s immigration letter

yall, during pt one of this tell all: laura trying to create suspense out of that immigration letter - when anyone with an ounce of understanding about bureaucracy / immigration proceedings would know that there was no way in HELL! it was gonna have anything important - was so fucking funny. and then when she read it and realized it was just to schedule an appointment? sorry girl that’s comedy cinema to me. it’s giving “i barely researched this before”.
