France Student visa rejected. Need help

I received my long stay student visa today and it was refused. The reason provided states: "The information submitted regarding the justification for the purpose and conditions of the intended stay was incomplete and/or was not reliable."

I submitted all the required documentation and finances for the entire duration of the course with the education loan sanction letter. Accommodation lease agreement for 1 year. I asked some students about this and one of them said that it's a technical issue from their end after he reviewed my cover letter and SOP, though my letters were a bit weak, rest everything was there. I have already contacted Campus France Delhi regarding this issue, but I would greatly appreciate your guidance on how to proceed. Should I ask my college to contact Campus France Delhi and try to figure things out?

Could you please advise on the next steps for a resubmission? If there are any specific suggestions or additional documentation I can provide to help strengthen my re-application, please let me know.

Can I change my planned arrival date on France Visas before my VFS appointment?

Hi everyone!

A question regarding the France student visa process:

I already submitted my online application on the France-Visas portal, but I haven't booked my VFS (Delhi, India) appointment yet. On the form, I put August 23rd as my planned arrival date, but I actually want to fly out a couple of days earlier by 21st or 22nd.

Has anyone been in a similar situation? Can I just create a new application form on the portal with the updated date, or should I just inform the agent at the VFS counter during my appointment?

If anyone has any advice, it would be really helpful.

Can someone please help me with a query regarding financial documents for my visa application?

I have secured an education loan, I am the primary applicant and my mother is the co-applicant (since the collateral property is in her name). The visa document checklist requires 3 months of bank statements, ITR, and a sponsorship letter from the co-applicant. however my mother is a nonearning member and only has ITR for the last 1 year.

Can I add my father's documents to the visa application and list him as a second sponsor? My plan is to submit bank statements, ITR, and sponsorship letters for both parents, as well as include both of them in the affidavit of support. Will this work?

Also, should I explain all of this in my cover letter too?

How to get an accommodation in Paris?

Hey everyone! So I’m moving to Paris soon for my bachelor’s degree, and trying to figure out the apartment situation from abroad. The whole paperwork seems a quite confusing. especially since I’m an international student coming from India and don't have standard French documents like local tax forms or a French guarantor.

I know about Visale for the guarantor stuff and I'm considering applying for it. Also, what exact paperwork should I submit to make my dossier look reliable? Would love any recommendations for student-friendly sites, red flags to avoid, or tips on getting a lease quickly so I can completemy visa application. Any advice or past experiences would be huge!

France Student visa- need advice

France student visa-backup financial plan with dual sponsors, need advice

I am going to Paris for my bachelors (from India) and I received my Campus France confirmation and I'm ready to start my visa application. The only issue is my education loan from SBI is still in process, and it will take about 10 more days to come through.

As a backup, I'm planning to show sponsorship instead if the loan doesn't come in time - my dad as primary sponsor covering 60% of costs, and my uncle as co-sponsor covering the remaining 40%. I need to show around 20-25 lakhs total (tuition + living costs, since I'll be based in Paris).

Has anyone actually done the dual sponsor route successfully? Is it seen as reliable by VFS/the consulate, or do they prefer a single sponsor covering everything?

I'm planning to to submit my application around 27th-28th of this month, travel dates are 15th-20th August, and I've read processing is usually 1-1.5 weeks, so the timeline should work.

Would appreciate if anyone who's been through this could tell me what to watch out for, or if I'm missing something before I go ahead. Thanks in advance!
