So yeah, almost 40 and thinking of learning digital marketing properly. Better late than never, I guess. 😅

Looking for something short term and practical in Coimbatore. Not really interested in another 3–6 month course filled with theory and certificates.

Also, I’ve had enough online classes to last a lifetime, so I’d really prefer one-on-one, in-person training with someone who actually knows their stuff. Small batches could work too.

Anyone here done something similar? Any trainers or places in Coimbatore you’d actually recommend — or tell me to stay away from?

I am also looking for something similar in Kochi. I have not found any good leads yet.

I Closed all the accounts I had with them.

Transferred all the remaining amount to Amazon pay. Left them with 50p in all the accounts I was going to close. Submitted the form. When the manager asked me why I left 50 p in all accounts, I replied "it was my way of expressing my immense gratitude for nearly 20 years of their service"

Built our own commenting system after getting frustrated with existing ones like Disqus.

Our site is React/Node based (not WordPress), but I thought this subreddit would still have good insight since many here run content/community websites.

We run DailyRevs, an automotive media platform, and wanted comments to feel like part of the website instead of a disconnected third-party widget.

Main reasons we built our own:

• Didn’t want separate login systems
• Wanted tighter integration with our own features
• Needed better control over UX and moderation

Current setup:

• Google login only for now
• Threaded replies
• Notifications
• Spam filtering
• Mobile optimized
• GIFs/stickers disabled for now until things stabilize properly

We’re also open to adapting/developing it for WordPress websites later if the concept grows properly.

Curious what people here think:
