Hello! I am 24F and I recently got an offer to work in one of the research institutes in Pune. I am from Kolkata and I was looking forward to the move. But reading some of the comments about traffic safety, road conditions, 'chapris', and public transport has me second guessing my decision.

This is the first time I'll be living alone. I have a friend who lives here, so I'll have someone familiar in this city. But I would like some female perspective on this. Especially from people (irrespective of gender) who moved from Kolkata.
