Surrey water bill help
Hello. Our contract agree with 50% utility (Hydro, fortis and water bill)
december bill is easy to read and clear. I need help reading the new bill for Apr 29
For december Bill Total Bill: $175.72 for 126 days (July 16 – Nov 19).
Daily House Rate: $175.72 ÷ 126 days = $1.395 per day.
we moved in: Oct 15 – Nov 19 = 35 days.
Total House Cost (during your stay): 35 days × $1.395 = $48.81.
Our 50% Share: $48.81 ÷ 2 = $24.41 water
April bill is 117 days = Nov 19 to Mar 16 (or Nov 20?)
my question is why does April bill says 2025 and 2026? Since I move in Oct 2026. We should just pay the 2026 amount right? I think the landlord hasn't pay 2025 bill is my interpretation correct?
