Beaver Island / Bill Wagner Campground

Wife and I and planning to spend two nights on the island at the Bill Wagner Campground. We are bikepacking and plan on exploring the island on bikes as well. Do any of the sites have lake views? Anyone recommend a site? We are bringing a hammock (not to sleep in) so a site with a few trees would be great.

Weber Lake State Forest Camping

Wife and I are doing a long weekend bikepacking trip over 4th of July. Weber Lake State Forest area would be our first night on Thur July 2nd before we head onto Beaver Island. We are a little nervous that these sites are first come first serve as we will be on bikes and cant audible very easily, however hoping this wont be an issue being here on a Thursday. Anyone have any insight on this campground? Also is there firewood available near by? Anything else we should know? Will do a separate post for Beaver Island.

Musketawa Trail - Bikepacking Grand Rapids

Looking to do a bike packing trip that will take us from Grand rapids to Muskegon and curious where (if at all) the Musketawa Trail is closed. Any camping recommendations or routes would also be appreciated. We are considering GR to Muskegon State Park to Holland state park and back to GR. May do in Opposite order. Really looking for a 3 day ride 2 night loop (not spur). Would like to do 35 - 50 miles per day.

Kal Haven rustic camp site near South Haven

*** Update Edit*** Was informed this campspot has been closed. Thank you all who responded.

Is there still a rustic campsite on the Kal Haven near South Haven. We passed it last year on a bikepacking trip and didnt climb the stairs to check it out, but looking to possibly use this weekend. Any info on it would be helpful. We are looking to use Sat or Sun night. Assume no amenities at all (which is fine). Is there any concern it would already be used? I heard it was built by the boy scouts but not sure its been maintained.
