I was about to get super tutor for the first time (been teaching since March). Out of nowhere, i get 4 trials in a week (I usually have one a week and had been converting 80%). None of them suscribe (right away at least), the month changes and I miss my chance despite fulfilling the other requirements.

Does anyone know if, during the month, those trials convert, could i get the badge during the month?

It's honestly pretty frustrating, I'm not doing great anyways and this would've helped i feel. I'm making around 180 USD a month and can't make more (I teach Spanish)

Hi guys! I read posts on this topic but I can’t find the same situation so I hope your experience can help!

I’m a new Spanish tutor (started 20th of March ish) and got 4 trials from which two students converted.

I just got a new trial booked for next week, however, she wants to prepare for an A2 exam on the 23rd of May. She already did the placement test without me sending it and already shared her weak points regarding the exam.

Normally I’d be happy to help, I guess we could do an intensive one-month prep and that’s it. I’m in dire need of students so I wouldn’t mind. However, due to the new policy of three trials for the price of one, I’m afraid she’s just using three tutors.

For the moment, I accepted the trial and told her we’ll get to know each other and bla bla.

Do you guys think these cases can potentially convert or is it a lost battle? I already had one trial who “just wanted to meet handsome guys” and never converted and another who said “I’m not studying Spanish for any particular reason”.

My rate went from 100% to 50% and lost momentum so I dunno what to do. I don’t want to become a whiner but still…
