I am probably missing something, maybe someone can explain it to me? I got an email from Finnair with an offer to purchase Avios, their internal currency. Here is the math: I can buy 5000 Avios for roughly $150. These 5000 Avios are worth about $50 when using them for a seat selection, or about $25 when when purchasing a plane ticket. So, I could spend $150 to get roughly $25-$50 in benefits. What's point? Who is buying Avios? Am I math challenged? Am I missing something obvious?

Saw their ad on Facebook saying it should help PD patients, but on their web site they promote it as a post-stroke rehab tool. Curious if someone with PD tried it and has an opinion about it. Thank you.
