Gear Hirers - how do you track your inventory?

I've got a large amount of microphones I hire out.

I'm currently keeping track using a spreadsheet. Where they go. Who's got them. How long. If they've paid.

I'd be really interested in automating some of the process, or making it easier at least.

Obviously free / low cost preferred.

Advice welcomed!

Switching ISP's every 6 months?

Noticed these days noone has a regular price for internet - it's always a special rate for 6 months and then goes right up.

Is anyone on here just switching every 6 months to get intro rates?

I pay $60/m for 5G with iiNet and it gets 50g downloads but it's so unreliable, I want to swap out for something more consistent and I'm thinking of swapping to NBN.

Would love to pay less.

Anyone just get their own modem and continually swap?
What's the savviest method?
I don't mind the legwork.

Switching Studios and PT I/O Path N/A

I'm using a mac mini and switching between a few different studio setups, all with UAD Apollos.

I'm on PT PT 2024.10.2. Not sure if I just need to update, or not understanding something.

I'm pretty familiar with the I/O Matrix in Console (UAD) and will route my Tools session out of Virtual Channels for H/P mixes.

I'm finding that when I'm swapping between studios, the I/O routing is often coming up as path N/A - despite looking identical in the I/O page.

I can solve this by hitting default in the I/O page, and then changing the Monitor Path to Virtual 1/2, but then it creates this doubling of I/O and half of them have path N/A.

Can someone help me in how to tidy this up? Surely there's a cleaner / better way of doing this?

I've attached some pics of what I mean.

Hey!

Would you rather do an airplane flight at sunrise, or a helicopter flight during the day?

Extended:

Heading to Uluru this weekend and our sunrise helicopter tour has been cancelled as Fly Uluru doesn't have a helicopter over the weekend.

They have offered us the same flight with their airplane.

Or we could get a refund, and book with the other company, but not sunrise.

Weigh in please!
