[Hiring] [Remote] [US/Global] - C# / Dotnet / Vue (full tech stack inside) - $50/hr / $12k for ~6 week full-time engagement June 1 -> July 15

I run a US based software dev agency and one of my existing clients is looking for a dev on a project with skills we don't currently have, so looking for a new person to join us who does.

Client is a US company operating in the prediction market industry.

This is a codebase that's been in production for 8+ years, and likely includes some legacy tech.

Tech stack, you MUST have REAL, PROFESSIONAL (not personal projects) experience with the following:

C#
HTML5, Twitter Bootstrap, jQuery, Vue.js, ASP.NET, MVC, Web API, Web Form
Enterprise Library, Entity Framework, Linq, T4
SSRS, SQL Server, Redis, Kafka
Azure DevOps, Azure Services, Visual Studio 2022
Frontend -Vue.js
Public API -.net Web API 2.0
Trade Engine - C# windows service
Clearing Engine - C# windows service
Stats Engine - C# windows service
Notification Service - Signalr
Live Updates - Firebase

Further requirements:
English fluency
Ability to work in US time zone (fine if not living in US time zone, but should be comfortable working during these hours)
Availability to work full time June 1 -> July 15

Nice to haves:
Experience in fintech / prediction markets.

Budget:
~$50/hr, 40 hrs a week, goal for delivery ~6 weeks (can share details after NDA), can also do a ~$12k flat rate for the work if preferable
This *may* be negotiable for the right candidate, but this is the budget I have approval for now

You would be working as a member of my agency, and communicating primarily with myself and the client dev team. This would be a totally non-exclusive agency relationship, you are of course free to work with as many other agencies and other clients as you choose.

To apply, please do not message me directly, but fill out the following google form:

I'd be fine spending up to $750 or so, but can't bring myself to drop thousands on a bottle.

I know nothing about whiskey and just drink what's in front of me. He's got a bit more of a refined palette after dating someone in the industry but he's no fancy pants himself.

I got him a "nice" (for us, as broke shitheads in our 20s) bottle for his son's birth and he loved that, so thought it might be nice to do something in that vein again.

Would appreciate any advice y'all have to give!

EDIT - I've somewhat quickly succumbed to the idea of spending $1000 as it seems that the top recs start in that range.

Right now I'm evaluating (all in tax + shipped prices):

Glenfarclas @ $1060
MacPhails @ ~$1000

Any thoughts on these? Anything better for the price?

▲ 81 r/codex

I have updated the Codex desktop app like 6+ times in the last week. I check the changelog, and nothing has been posted there since 4-16 for the Codex app.

Even though I've gotten in-app popups pointing to new features, and I clearly see design updates.

I find myself having to be Sherlock Holmes manually investigating all parts of the app to try to figure out what, if anything visible, has changed.

Most other quality pieces of software I've used have changelog that accompanies every update.

Can we please get the same here? This should be relatively straightforward and automatable.
