Is $47.7k OTD for a 2026 RAV4 Hybrid XLE Premium standard, or should I step down to an XLE/LE?
Hey everyone,
I’m looking at buying a 2026 RAV4 Hybrid XLE Premium and received a dealer quote (screenshot attached). I wanted to run the numbers by people who have purchased one recently to see how this compares to what you paid.
Quote Breakdown:
Base Model: $41,973
Destination Charge: $1,595
TSRP: $43,568
Doc Fee: $799
Holman Price: $44,367
Sales Tax: $2,939.31
Registration / Fees / Tire: $420.90
Total Out-The-Door (OTD): $47,727.21
A few questions for the community:
- OTD Comparison: For those who bought an XLE Premium recently, what was your final OTD price? Does $47.7k seem high, or is this inline with current market expectations?
- Doc Fee: The $799 doc fee seems a bit steep with zero dealer discount off TSRP. Has anyone had luck negotiating this down on 2026 models?
- Trim Level Check (XLE Premium vs. XLE / LE): Since base XLE Premium MSRPs usually hover around $37.5k–$38k, this spec clearly has ~$5k–$6k in factory options added. For those who considered the standard XLE or LE to save $4k–$7k, was stepping up to the XLE Premium worth it for the SofTex seats, power liftgate, and tech packages? Or is the lower trim a better value proposition at this price point?
Thanks in advance for the feedback!
