Besides the defense, why did Aaron Rodgers never make it back to a Super Bowl?

In honor of Aaron announcing his final ride, I’d like to raise this question.

Was the Packers’ front office complacent? Was it poor coaching?

Shannon Sharpe: “Did you think he was gonna turn into what he became?”

Marshawn Lynch: “Yeah. The only difference is that I thought he would’ve had more Super Bowls by now.“

Imagine telling someone in December 2020 that the QB of the 0-13 Jets would have the same amount of rings as the soon to be three-time MVP.

What’s a recent regular season loss that made you sit in silence?

December 26th, 2021.

The 4-10 Chicago Bears erased a ten point fourth quarter deficit against the 5-9 Seattle Seahawks to win 25-24.

It was such an irrelevant game that they had Aaron Goldsmith, a Mariners’ announcer, and chain-snatching Aqib Talib commentating.

The perfect way to encapsulate this game was Russell Wilson spinning into a 13-yard sack which led to Jason Myers missing a 39-yard field goal.

To add insult to injury, Seahawks’ legend Jimmy Graham caught the go-ahead touchdown. Our fans pelted the Bears with snowballs afterwards, lol.

This was the game that convinced a lot of the fanbase that Pete Carroll and Russell Wilson needed to be shown the door. They were outcoached and outplayed by Matt Nagy and Nick Foles.

I also contracted COVID earlier in the week, so it was truly a terrible experience.

This was the Eagles third consecutive NFC Championship loss, and second straight at home. If this happened in today’s NFL, would the organization clean house?

2001: They lost 29-24 on the road against “The Greatest Show on Turf.“

2002: Ronde Barber seals the deal with 92 yard pick-six as the Eagles are driving in a 27-10 victory.

2003: Ricky Manning nabs three interceptions out of four thrown by Eagles’ QBs en route to a 14-3 victory.

Is this Lamar’s greatest moment?

His team had just squandered a 34-20 lead (a staple of the Harbaugh era) while he was “cramping up in the locker room.” The score is 35-34.

Trace McSorley botched the previous play by injuring himself and losing three yards on third down going into the two minute warning. The Ravens only have one timeout at this point.

Jackson emerges from the locker room and throws a 44 yard go ahead touchdown to Marquise Brown on 4th & 5 en route to a 47-42 victory over the Browns that was literally the difference between making and missing the playoffs that year.

Was this Bill O’Brien going scorched earth on his way out?

Bill O’Brien served as the general manager and head coach. This occurred around the start of free agency in 2020. The Texans were coming off a 51-31 loss to the eventual SB Champion Chiefs in the Divisional Round (where they blew a 24-0 lead)

GMs around the league reported that they had no idea that Hopkins was even on the trade block, as Stefon Diggs was traded from the Vikings to the Bills in exchange for a first round pick (#22).

David Johnson was also expected to be cut from the Cardinals.

O’Brien was dismissed after an 0-4 start.
