Looking for sturdy notebook recommendations
I am looking for recommendations for a sturdy, probably leather, notebook. I have had a rhodia pleather notebook for the last ten years which I really liked (in particular the paper texture which is a dream to write on) but the cover has deteriorated and now flakes away. I want something to use as a songbook so its got to put up with another few decades of being carted to the pub.
A lot of the results I am finding are leather covers for inserts - I would like something sturdier that is actually made in one piece.
Specifications:
Size: approximately A5 (though would also consider A6 if it had a higher pagecount)
Pages: 160+, the more the better. Dont mind blank/lined. Preferably not that really fluffy recycled paper as I want to be able to write in fountain pen without horrible blurring.
Features: ideally several ribbon page markers and an envelope/folder inside the cover for loose sheets (I know this might be asking too much). A clasp / tie might look cool but not essential
Binding: real leather (or something else sturdy, I looked at sailcloth but could only find it in the form of slipclovers). Don't mind if it's hardback or soft so long as its durable. Bonus points if its hand stitched.
Fun features: anything historic / nautical especially reused materials (eg old sails, leather \*from\* something etc) would prefer handmade / traditional rather than amazon etc
Price: probably around £50 though happy to pay more for anything particularly nice. Realistically probably can't justify over £200.
I am based in the UK but happy to order from elsewhere if they ship.
