I have this ESP LTD VB-300 Baritone guitar, 27 inch scale length and from 2002. My favourite guitar and I love playing it. I bought it used a couple years ago, and the previous owned had had the neck professionally repaired after it had broken at some point.

Now, after a bump to the headstock, the crack has very slightly opened up, less than maybe half a millimetre. It's still noticable to the touch though.

Thing is, I don't have a chance to get it re-repaired for a while, I was wondering if it's a dumb idea to tune it back up and play it? How likely will it be to break it even more? Thanks :)
