Wizz air ignoring my claim
Anyone dealt with Wizz Air compensation before?
Basically Wizz kept changing my flight over and over again for weeks until it became completely useless for my trip. Ended up having to cancel it and book a whole new flight last minute which cost bare money.
Because of it me and my mate lost:
New flights over £1k total
Non refundable hotel money
Train tickets
Had to cut the trip short as well
They refunded part of the original booking but we’re still massively out of pocket.
Main issue is I submitted a proper compensation/expense claim with all receipts and screenshots attached nearly 50 days ago and they literally still haven’t replied at all. No update, no proper response, nothing.
I asked for EU261 compensation plus reimbursement for the extra costs caused by all the schedule changes.
Has anyone actually had success getting money back from Wizz after being ignored this long?
And should I escalate it now or keep waiting?
This airline is genuinely a joke lol
