
Can’t Submit a Support Ticket to Rockstar - 2 Step Authenticator Issue
Last year, I was using my email in order to conduct the two step verification, so I’m fairly certain I never set up an Authenticator app. It’s been a while since I’ve logged into Rockstar site, but when I type in my account info to sign in, it tells me to type in the code from my Authenticator app. But I don’t have any app linked to rockstar, and I don’t have anything in my email.
When I try to submit a support ticket, it gives me an error as well. Has anyone experienced this recently and has a possibility or fix to this? I’m trying to get into my account to get ready for potential GTA 6 Collectors Edition drops and of course now is when I’m having trouble logging into the site.
UPDATE: So I was able to FINALLY submit a ticket. For context, I had been using Chrome on my phone (iPhone). So I went to Safari, went to an incognito tab, made sure I was using mobile data rather than WiFi, and the ticket was submitted successfully!
Now the new hurdle is dealing with the responses. They keep telling me they can’t confirm that I’m the actual account owner so currently dealing with that bs….but at least now I’m able to submit tickets…
