I’m writing this to document my situation and see if anyone else has gone through the exact same issue with Rockstar Support regarding unauthorized account linking.

📅 Timeline of Events:

• May 2020: I claimed Grand Theft Auto V: Premium Edition for free on the Epic Games Store during their giveaway. I never installed or launched the game at that time.
• May 2025 (The Breach): My Epic Games account was compromised by an unauthorized third party.
• The Hijack (First Launch Tethering): Before I recovered the account, the hacker downloaded and launched GTA V for the very first time through my Epic profile. Since Rockstar links game entitlements upon first launch, the hacker tethered my game directly to their own Social Club account.
• Late May 2025 (Account Recovery): I successfully recovered, secured, changed passwords, and enabled 2FA on my Epic Games account through Epic Support. However, launching GTA V still fails because it remains linked to the hacker’s Social Club account.

🎫 Rockstar Support Ticket Journey:

• Initial Ticket: I submitted a support request explaining that my game entitlement was linked without my consent. The first attempt got auto-closed, so I opened a new ticket under the correct category (Linking / unlinking accounts).
• Proof Provided: I attached complete verification evidence directly to the ticket, including:
  1. Epic Account Settings screenshot showing my Epic Account ID and display name.
  2. Official Epic Games purchase receipt with the Order ID dated May 2020.

⌛ Current Status:

My ticket is currently marked as ONGOING in the Rockstar Support Dashboard. I am awaiting a manual agent to review the attached proof of ownership and perform the manual unlinking.

Has anyone had success with manual unlinking under similar circumstances recently? How long did it take for an agent to process it?

Hi everyone, I’m probably writing off‑topic, but I’d like to know how I can regain access to my Rockstar account because I lost my 2FA. I contacted support via email, and they said I need to use the website, but I can’t log in. I’m hoping for your help.

Короче, ситуация такая. У меня в Steam куплены GTA V и RDR2. Аккаунт Social Club привязан к старой почте на tut.by. И вот эта почта теперь просто мертва — tut.by заблокировали, письма туда вообще не приходят, никак. Я не могу зайти ни в одну из игр, потому что Rockstar требует код подтверждения, который летит на этот адрес. А он мёртвый.

Писал в поддержку Rockstar. Объяснял всё, отправлял им дату регистрации аккаунта Social Club. Отправлял дату первого кода двухфакторной аутентификации, который мне когда-то приходил на почту. Это единственное письмо 2FA, которое у меня вообще есть — самый первый код. Больше ничего нет, письма активации 2FA у меня нет, только этот первый.

И вот поддержка мне отвечает, что не может подтвердить, что я владелец аккаунта. Ну то есть я им и дату регистрации даю, и дату первого кода — а им всё равно мало. Что им ещё надо, я не понимаю. Написано дальше, что моя проблема решена и закрывают тикет.

Собственно, вопросы к вам:

1. Как вообще можно их убедить? Может кто проходил такое с мёртвыми доменами, особенно с tut.by?
2. Если восстановить уже никак — реально ли отвязать этот Social Club от Steam? Хочу хотя бы новый создать и играть в свои купленные игры. Прогресс в онлайне мне уже не так важен, лишь бы игры запускались.

Буду благодарен за любой совет. Реально уже руки опускаются.

yo, I am losing my mind. I'm currently staring at the infinite loading screen for GTA Online on PC Epic Games and I think im blacklisted or something

Before anyone tells me to turn it off and on again, here’s what I’ve already done:

• Scoured my game directory like a detective. No mods, no weird files, completely normal.
• Ran the "Verify Files" tool on Epic Games. It gave me a gold star and said everything is fine (spoiler: it’s not).
• No crashes, no error codes, just vibing in the sky forever.

I don't know what to do.
Recently, I've wanted to get back into rdr2 and rdr online, so I opened up the launcher, typed in my email and password. "password incorrect" so I tried a bunch of different passwords I've used over the years with no luck, eventually I just go to "forgot password" type in BOTH EMAILS that it could possibly be, but still, no email is sent to me in-order to reset my password.
I do this a bunch of times and still no email.
so at this point I think that my account was hacked and the email and/or password was changed.
so I go to the official rockstar website to submit a support ticket, and even though I've filled out all required information I just get an error message over and over again, regardless of whether I try this on pc or mobile. what can I even do at this point???
Is my account gone forever?

Cara eu simplesmente to muito bravo com o suporte rockstar e do google, porque a 1 ano atrás exatamente eu acabei formatando meu celular/pc, so que eu tinha esquecido de 1 fator a minha rockstar, mas tudo bem eu apenas poderia recuperar minha conta google adivinha... Eu nunca consegui entrar nessa conta novamente, eu estou a exatos 6 meses tentando logar na minha bendita conta, eu ja fiz de tudo, mandei suporte, testei senhas, corri atras de email que poderiam me ajudar e adivinha nada, até que eu novamente apos 1 mes decidi novamente tentar recuperar e adivinha nada................... O que eu acho mais engraçado de tudo e que na rockstar eles tem uma opção de perda de email no suporte mas mesmo apos eu colocar tudo certinho todas as informações da conta adivinha :) eles simplesmente me respondem que não podem fazer nada por questões de segurança mesmo sendo eles que simplesmente deixam essa opção, tanto que lá tem 1 botão pra você dar sincronização com os dados da steam para ajudar a provar que a conta e sua e adivinha não ajuda em nada, então agora eu realmente não sei oque fazer porque o google e a mesma coisa o suporte não ajuda, eles ficam so enrolando e no final e a mesma coisa de " não podemos comprovar que a conta e sua " ai e de acabar com o brasileiro médio, e bom você até pode estar se perguntando porque eu não compro outro simples, eu não tenho a grana top né :), então e isso se alguem tiver alguma ideia ou ajuda eu ficaria bem grato porque eu realmente estou começando a perder a minha determinação para arrumar esse caso.

I have a rockstar account attached to my epic games gta v but i forgot password of rockstar account and i can't play gta v without that account.i m not receiving password reset email i tried using incognito mode, different network, checked spam and promotion filters in email but i m not receiving it.

Title: Red Dead Redemption 2 won’t open – RDR2.exe runs in the background
Hi everyone,
I’m having a problem with Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC. When I launch the game through Rockstar Games Launcher, it says the game is running and the launcher changes to “Exit Game”, but the actual game window never appears.
In Task Manager, RDR2.exe shows as Running, but the game doesn’t appear when I press Alt + Tab. The GPU usage for the game shows 0%.
My PC has an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060.
Here is what I’ve tried so far:
Restarted my PC.
Ended the RDR2.exe process in Task Manager and tried launching the game again.
Reinstalled the game, but the problem remained.
Set Windows Graphics settings to High performance (NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060).
Disabled fullscreen optimizations.
Checked compatibility settings.
Checked that Rockstar Game Library Service is running and set to Automatic.
Checked Reliability Monitor, but couldn’t find a relevant error.
Verified the game files through Rockstar Games Launcher. Verification failed, and the launcher started downloading additional data to repair the files.
The game still won’t open properly.
Has anyone experienced the same issue or found a fix? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
