Can someone explain what being a “devotee” to a pagan god is?

I’m trying to distinguish the difference between someone who “works with” or “worships” a god versus someone who calls themselves a devotee of a god. I’m sure being a devotee also means worshipping and working with a deity but what else does it entail? I tried researching it but didn’t find much and found a lot on Abrahamic devotion to god which is obviously not what I’m looking for. 😂

For example, I worship and work with Freyja and have for a few years now. She has helped me in many ways and also aids me in my spell work occasionally. Although she is the only deity I worship, I wouldn’t call myself a devotee. I don’t offer her stuff ritualistically every day for example.

Any advice on how I can be a better partner and friend?

I feel like I definitely struggle with my temper sometimes in relationships and I’ve heard your other chart aspects can help you out or show you what to focus on more. Happy to take your opinions 😂

Why does Aro obsess over Bella and Edward but NOT Zafrina and Benjamin?

It’s been a really long time since I read the books so sorry if this is literally mentioned in the text lol. But there’s so much emphasis on how special Aro thinks Bella is and now she’s “such a prize” yet vampires who literally can shoot fire out of their hands and vampires who can completely blind and incapacitate other vampires are ignored lol. I understand it may be because Bella and Edward are central to the plot, so they naturally are the center of attention in their own story. But I’m just trying to like…understand Aro’s viewpoint? 😭 The only reasonable Cullen obsession is Alice. Zafrina could also theoretically block attacks from other vampires because she can cause them to hallucinate or lose their vision. I can’t think of any vampire whose abilities would still work without vision. Alec and Jane would probably not be able to do much if they cannot see their targets. Even vampires with more physical gifts like Felix may not be able to do much against another vampire if he’s blind. I understand vampires have amazing senses but loss of sight against a fellow vampire, who also has amazing senses, is probably a severe disadvantage. Also…I feel like we’re under-reacting about Benjamin. He’s literally an avatar?!?
