easter egg in patricia's book

please let me know if this has been posted before!!

i was re-watching episode four and noticed this page before the toast:

the second paragraph reads: Before the party, spend some time writing down fun facts about your guests, so that you can share to spur topics of conversation. Dan likes to take strolls in the moonlight. Cynthia always wears a locket that her grandmother gave her when she was seven, and she says will haunt her if she removes it. Robert said he sold his soul to the devil to play the guitar like a master. Amanda likes to paint dead animals still life oil paintings (?). Matthew is afraid of the dark and has to sleep with a nightlight...

three things popped out for me: one, the references to the occult/satan/just weird shit. obviously this is super common in the show & is what i think they do best -- the feeling that there's little things that are just off, but everyone's become so accustomed to it that no one questions it.

two: it seems to be the method of the book. it chooses someone it thinks it can manipulate, then slowly assesses their fears (the very first thing the book asked patricia to do was tell it what she liked most and least about herself).

three: smaller, but i just like these little ways that it feels like the book (and the island in general) is an inhuman entity pretending to be human. like, to us it would obviously be very weird to write down "fun facts" about guests and memorize them. but it's just going off a vague understanding of human relations.

anyone have any thoughts?

fun restaurants in the area?

hello! i am new to framingham and looking for somewhere to take my sister for her birthday. she wants a fun restaurant (i.e. not super formal & there’s people there), preferably one that serves alcohol. open to places in surrounding towns as well.

thanks so much in advance!!
