Do you have any recommendations for good, up-to-date Business English textbooks for intermediate learners? 🙏 I’ve only found really old books, I’m looking for ones that cover current topics.
Hey everyone. I am in a bad place right now and want to focus in lives that aren't my own. Do you guys have any recommendation of tv shows that make you forget about life? I've previously enjoyed: Gilmore Girls, Heated Rivalry, Off Campus, Modern Family, Never Have I Ever, Pluribus, Fleabag and most recently The Big C - it was so easy to watch, I don't care about crying if it is funny too.

Has anyone else had problems with microphone/audio tests in studies?
My audio test kept getting rejected multiple times, even though I work as an online teacher and my students hear me perfectly fine every single day for hours. I listened to the recordings myself and the audio was clear and completely understandable.
Is this normal? Could the test system itself be too sensitive or buggy?
Has anyone had experience with this researcher or dealt with a situation like this before?
They’re asking me to return my submission claiming the completion code was incorrect/unknown, even though I definitely submitted one and have resent it multiple times in chat. They still keep insisting I return the study.
I’ve already submitted Prolific’s dispute form as well.
Curious if anyone has dealt with this researcher specifically or knows how these cases usually play out.
