I made a one minute SQLite demo video with a free tool I built

This shows real SQLite commands for JSON and running totals. I used SQLite 3.53.4 with made-up bakery data.

I made it with explainroo, a free tool I built. It's open source at https://github.com/vincentsch/explainroo

I made a one minute Vue demo video with a free tool I built

I work with Vue. I made a one minute video of a todo app. It sets up a project with `create-vue` and shows a .vue file. Then the list updates while you add and tick off todos.

The `create-vue` prompts and the Vite output are from a real run. The todo list is made up. It's unofficial and I'm not connected to the Vue team.

I made it with a free tool I built. It lets a coding agent make videos like this on your computer. It's open source: https://github.com/vincentsch/explainroo

I made a short Ollama demo video with a free tool I built

I built a free tool that lets your coding agent make videos like this one. You give your agent the link to the repo and say what the video should be about. It writes the words, draws the scenes, and you get a video with a voice and music.

Like Ollama, it runs on your own computer. The voice and the word timing come from models that run locally, so there's no API key and nothing to sign up for.

This one is a short, unofficial look at Ollama: installing it, running a model, the ls and ps commands, the local API, and making your own model with a Modelfile. I'm not connected to the Ollama team.

I made a short Gemini CLI demo video with a free tool I built

I built a free tool that lets your coding agent make videos like this one. You give Gemini CLI the link to the repo and say what the video should be about. It writes the words, draws the scenes, and you get a video with a voice and music.

Everything runs on your own computer, and there's nothing to sign up for.

This one is a short, unofficial look at Gemini CLI: signing in with Google, making a change, searching the web, the GEMINI.md file, and running it from scripts. I'm not connected to Google.

I made an open source kit that helps Claude make explainer videos

Everyone is doing those Opus 5 videos now. explainroo gives Claude a head start: point Claude Code at the repo, say what the video should explain, and you get a narrated MP4. Scenes are plain JS on an HTML canvas, voice and timing run on your computer. Sonnet 5.5 is good at it too, so it gets cheaper.

How Claude helped: I built explainroo with Claude Code. Claude wrote most of the engine, the UI kit for product demos and the docs. The example videos, including this unofficial Claude demo, were made by Claude agents working only from the repo's AGENTS.md, and what they got stuck on went back into the docs.
