Urgent need help to ID Tabriz carpet

I really like this carpet, and unless it is a complete scam, I would probably buy it.
It is being sold as a wool and silk blend Tabriz carpet for €2,900. The seller has apparently been in the carpet business in the same neighborhood for more than 40 years. He says the carpet is not very old, has not been used, and has mostly been moved between stores. It feels handmade to me, but I have very little experience with handmade rugs and did not count the knots.
The seller also says he provides a warranty, although I assume that is only backed by his reputation and the invoice.
My main concern is authenticity. I do not want to discover later that it is a machine made rug or a mass produced rug from China being sold as a handmade Tabriz carpet.

Does This Sound Like a Legitimate Handmade Tabriz Rug?

Unfortunately, I do not have a photo of the back. However, I could see the knots, and the reverse side appears almost as detailed and well defined as the front, which makes me think it may be handmade.

Does the price sound plausible for a wool and silk Tabriz rug, assuming the seller’s description is accurate? Any advice from people with experience buying Persian rugs would be appreciated.
