I mean yeah baby IIM new course , people saying money making scheme of IIMs , doesn't matter much ig, it's an IIM everyone won't get into indore shillong ranchi or any other top ipm IIM, ROI is bad new IIM every IIM was new at some point ain't know way each of them were giving 25 lakhs average in their initial years , IIM guwahati has been introduced if things go like this no one will take admission for pgp there as its newer than baby IIMs , Institutions will grow only if students get admitted right? I would say people who got sambalpur or IIM M ug make your own decision people who are saying they won't take it, they might've better options if you don't than go for the best one which you have.

They asked don't you edit for yourself (laughing)

I said yeah sir my gym videos and all i edit them too

So do you put them on your page i said no I don't have a page i use them on stories.

They asked about my drop in acads i accepted my lack in hardwork and certain difficulties I faced during boards but I am working hard on them now.

They asked my marks of maths and physics (52 and 60 btw 💔✌🏽, told them) may be that's why they didn't ask any accads .

But yeah no serious moment at all they were very approachable, they asked so you have any other calls I said yes sir.

They said why will you choose ranchi over them .

I said those are also one of the top institutions of the country but I like ranchi more because of the environment.

Proff asked so other IIMs don't give this environment, I said they certainly do but one of the alumni (lord) Bhavesh shaha has inspired me a lot to join this institution, they started laughing and talking to each other about bhavesh bhaiya 😭, they asked he is the guy who runs coaching right , I said yes he asked you studied from their I said yes , he said but only one person can't inspire you to join a institution, i then explained about the interdisciplinary program, the SIIP , and the alignment of NEP with institution, they seemed pretty satisfied with the answer.

Then they asked about gym what is difference between strength training and cardio , i explained strength training but fumbled in cardio i said improves stamina and it's kind off workout of heart the professor was laughing and then asked what equipments do I use and what muscles do squats train.

Asked about concave and convex mirror uses I told them like ek ka wala dusre mai keh diya , but he got my answer ( first major fumble)

Or baaton ke beech mai randomly asked the area of Circle and right angled triangle.

Then he asked about which recent states had elections I told 4 but he was expecting 5. He asked about tamil nadu politics I said I am not that aware then he asked about Bengal I told some , and that 120 acre alotment thing of siliguri corridor.

Also asked me about what tabla style do i play I said I used to practice with Rabindra Sangeet , asked some name of Rabindra Sangeet , also asked two famous tabla players I could only answer Zakir Hussain.

That was it there were lot more I can't remember cause it was very light and I was enjoying it.

I got an offer from NMIMS navi Mumbai bsc finance

I have given

Rohtak pi , indore, amritsar , sambalpur , ranchi is tomorrow.

Rohtak's written exam was good as well as pi was above average

Indore's written was a disaster,

Indore's pi I got grilled in acads

Amritsar was short and fine and same for sambalpur.

Now should I consider bsc finance they have extended the payment deadline till 7th ig , should I wait till then? I hope rohtak comes out till then or should I go for NMIMS?

Female proff: you are from science background why do you thinking of management.

Me: Mam was involved in school leadership ship roles which made me realise I enjoy working with people and love coordination and team work so I got interested towards management.

Female proff : so management and public policy making is relevant to a leader.

Me : ofc mam a leader should have skills of management and public policy to ensure he is leading a group correctly.

Female proff: So you are from XYZ state tell us about some policies introduced there.

Me: explained about vidyajyoti scheme.

Female proff : does it have challenges ?

Me: yes mam , explained how new syllabus and teaching format can be a hassle for both students and children (gave example of my mother she is also a teacher teaching for 25+ year and the transition is quite harsh) , I did slutter a bit here .

Female proff: what will you do after graduation.

Me(fumbled cause i mostly prepared this for ipm pis): mam I am not sure about it still but i hope the institution will give me exposure to get in direction but most probably i want to work in a management oriented filed.

Female professor was done.

Male proff: so you had pcm in HS , tell me what is linear programming

Me : I am not able to recall it sir ( i had skipped that chapter in school 😭✌🏽💔)

Male proff: What do you mean by integration.

Me: it helps to sum up small quantities, like small distances or if we have money in small quantities here and there it helps to sum it up

Male proff: we can sum money here there by normal arithmatics only why integration.

Me: sir not only for money , in science also very small quantities are summed up by integrating to generalise them into a bigger quantity (fumbled).

Male proff: okay thanks, that's it good luck .

Bruh it didn't even last 10 minutes 😭

I gave a short intro,

They asked my subjects told them ,

Asked my favorite one I told physics,

Favorite topic told electricity,

They asked in a close circuit from where do current flow , I told them from +ve to -ve , and they asked about and electrons? I told -ve to +ve.

They asked what's the value of capacitor if they are arranged in series ,

I told if there are n capacitor so it will be 1/c1+1/c2...+1/Cn, and if there are two then C1+C2/C1C2.

Then they asked if I know any computer languages I told I have taught python in 11th and 12th grade they asked what did they teach I told only basic python,file handling and basic codes (we have been taught sql but mujhe pata tha ye bola toh pakdenge tagda) , then they asked me about what I do in free time I told I go to the gym and edit videos , I don't remember much it was very fast, I was the last candidate in the panel they didn't even ask much , oh they asked about differentiation like what do you mean by second differentiation, I told them . They asked me F(x)= 2x+3 , whats it first derivative I told 2 , they asked what does this 2 means , I told it's the final answer of the differentiation it's called the derivative 🥀 and they asked no what does it actually called I said it's the slope of the function 🥀 and they asked how will you find the slope of a circle i couldn't answer that .

That's all what i remember it was the shortest interview I think I ain't making it.💔💔💔

After entering I greeted the professors,

They asked the meaning of my name I told them ,

Then directly said you're from XYZ state i said yes.

Started grilling on PCM

Gave me to draw the graph of 1/x² i froze I couldn't remember it I said sorry sir I can't remember it ,

They moved forward and asked a lot of chemistry they asked me isomorphism, isomerism what is a polymer , i wasn't able to answer any of them properly told about polymer that they are long chained hydrocarbons.

After that asked lenz law and faraday's law i answered easily,

Oh they also asked about if I know what's SEBI ? Why we need a regulator for stock market? Is there any for banks ? Any for insurance? I answered sebi and rbi but didn't know the insurance one .

Then asked about distillation my dumb ass defined dilution 💔🥀 (mujhe pi ke baad realise hua how bad i fumbled)

Then they jumped into my state they asked me to tell why a person should visit our state , then asked about cm , governor.

And then they said that's it .

Take jitna marzi utna toffees and have bohool of wataaaa.

AND SABSE BADI BAAT THEY DIDN'T ASK FOR ECAs I HAD 5 CERTIFICATES LINED UP IN MY FILE THEY DIDN'T EVEN LET US TAKE THE FILE INSIDE THE INTERVIEW ROOM!!!!

I have calls from 5 IIMs rn gave rohtak , Tommorow is indore , day after tomorrow amritsar, also have ranchi today got call from sambalpur , I don't have a very good score in indore tho barely cleared my category cut off , so should I consider this NMIMS offer? I have to accept it till 27th June and have to pay 3.5 lakhs 🫪🫪, ik there is refund policy but still that's a lot 💔🥀 What should I do please help me gng 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
