this is how i 100% figured out it was the sun!! i took a video of the red dot for about 45 minutes and i sped up to 100x speed. you can see it moving as the sun moves, it’s so cool! the first part of the vid is me taking pics of it (you can find them on my page!). it has to be the smallest hole it’s coming through… someone said it could be a bullet hole 😅 regardless, VERY grateful it’s not a camera or a portal to hell (or my cat ragebaiting me)🥹 i hope this can put some of your minds to ease too, thank you for all the love that post (and my bathtub LOL) got! have a beautiful day everyone 🖤
like the title says.. this is unreachable and i have no clue what it is. HELP
1pm est uneventful update: i called my landlord and they unamusingly submitted a maintenance request for me… i haven’t heard anything since 😭 there’s two explanations that make the most sense to me.. either it’s a work laser of sorts and it got triggered on recently or it’s been on and i just haven’t noticed? 😅 OR it’s the sun coming through, which i will be able to give a solid update on that later :,)
less likely explanations are camera, cia, sniper, aliens… or that im possibly a cat 🤭 regardless, ill try to keep you guys updated!! i did NOT expect this to blow up like it did
NEXT DAY UPDATE AND SOLVED!!… ITS THE SUN!!
at some point yesterday, the red dot disappeared and it confused me even more… but it made the sun theory even stronger because it disappeared when the sun left the bathroom wall area. i kept an eye on it all day and wanted to wait until today so see if it came back and… it did!! there has to be the tiniest hole on the wall outside.. and i’m betting the dot is going to disappear at some point again today when the sun goes to the other side. that explains why i never noticed it until now😭 i posted a couple pics on my reddit profile with my hand in front of the light so you guys can see!
to answer some questions: i don’t have up or downstairs neighbors, there’s no windows in my bathroom, the other side of the bathroom wall is outside, my tub does not have jets or a jaccuzi (i WISH), and i live in an OLD unit and apparently my tub hasn’t been replaced for yearssss :,)

i recently had a video go a little viral on shorts and bring in a decent traction to my page and i hit 1000 subs! (thank you for the love on that post btw!❤️)
my niche is mainly crochet and knitting. i didn’t have a long form videos on my channel yet but i didn’t have any videos even close to being post-able yet.. BUT i had an idea!! recently i’ve been into playing lofi and chill music in my daily life and basically every single video is some just the same background the entire time. i decided to record myself crocheting for 30 minutes straight and put chill music in the background! i also put a 30 minute count down timer to hopefully open it up to more audiences. i’m really hoping this helps with monetizing sooner than later!!! let me know your thoughts, ill take any advice!
i had a short that caused a debate in the comments and it blew up!! and the next few shorts i posted got a great response too, and here we are!! i’m so proud of myself for getting to this point after only about 3ish months of posting on shorts :) now i gotta just get monetized… long form cookin 🙏
