it transforms after successfully attracting its opponent pokemon!
bringing back battle bond because they're groovy
this one isn't as convincing to me but i still like the silly lil guy
this one was a bit more of a mishmash, think i could have made it more cohesive like
a redo of the flying type entry hazard because people didn't like the last one putting the opponent to sleep, hopefully this seems more balanced!
people were justifiably weren't vibing with smoke bombs lowering accuracy. this MIGHT be worse but i think it's also more interesting
might give those slow bulky ice types a change to shine. probably won't.
maybe if a ghost type comes in, the curse status is inflicted on them?
might be a bit broken but it's a way to keep momentum going in battle
an entry hazard that directly impacts stats!
i think this is one of my favourite effects because it acts kind of like soak but for dragon types, which makes sense because dragons are weak to dragons.
only now am i realising this would have the potential to one shot anything quad weak to stealth rocks upon entry. maybe only the first effect is necessary
completes the new trio of entry hazards that cause a non volatile status condition (toxic spikes, hot coals and now electrodes)
inflicts 1/8th damage (depending on type effectiveness) on the entering opponent and creates a damp environment for 5 turns, weakening Fire-type moves and disabling self destructive moves
we have toxic spikes for poison, what about hot coals for burn? i imagine they'd be washed away by a water-type move from either side.
basically an ingrain you use on your opponent
is there a smoke pokemon? i guess there are koffing and weezing but they're more smog
think we need more ways to infatuate your opponent, it feels like a forgotten status condition
