First, thank you all for the support and for all the great questions. I always try my best to answer every one that I see.

I’ve received a lot of messages asking when the new 96 inline skates would launch, and they’re finally available for pre-order now.

We’ll probably keep the pre-order open until around the end of the month.

I’ve put a lot into these skates, so I’m excited to finally get them out there. As always, if anyone has questions about the skates, fit, specs, development, or anything else, feel free to ask. I’m happy to answer anything I can.

Anyone remember back when a young Alyssa Milano dated downtahn Robbie Brown?

I actually got to play on a line with Robbie Brown in a Penguins tournament in 2009. One of the nicest guys I’ve ever met. Tons of great, hilarious stories too.

Just a few here. Who do you remember?

In case you don’t know me, I started a small company making retro inspired skates about a year ago. It started with vintage Nike inspired skates.

I’m posting these images here first for the community and will be happy to try to answer any questions.

As a kid I always loved the Mega Air 90 skates. I got to see Pavel Bure playing a few times in them and although I never got a pair I always wanted them.

These seemed like a good choice for what to bring back next after the Nike lines. I hope to make them available for pre-order in the next 4-6 weeks in case anyone is interested.

The fit is D, some call it a Bauer 2.5 style fit. Unless you have a crazy narrow or crazy wide foot they seem to generally fit. They’re pro level, very rigid but lightweight.

So to be fair, my old business partner and I first created prototypes for these almost 15 years ago. They needed some adjustments and I finally got some samples produced. Better late than never!
