Subaru is not changing the prices for the 2027 Trailseeker, similar to the Uncharted, they just announced. This isn’t surprising, but still good to see.

My utility will give me overnight rates at $0.038 (3.8 cents) per kWh. There’s a monthly fee of 6.73 to get the lowest rates, or $80.76 a year, but if you divide that out across 4000 kWh a year (12,000 to 15,000 miles) it comes to 2 cents more each kWh, for a total rate of $0.058.

$0.058 x 74.7 kWh battery = $4.33. The closest gas station to me is $4.39/gallon. Currently.

Really puts the fuel costs and efficiency in perspective.

What do we think is the best option here between buying and leasing? For those who got a Trailseeker, did you buy or lease, and why?
