The F4-425 Plus BIOS lists serial (COM) port in the IT8613E Super IO Configuration in the Advanced screen.
Is there a way to install serial-console-only OS instance on it, e.g. Proxmox Backup server? Which port is the console mapped to?
Using Protectli VP2411 with coreboot, and it worked just fine - the /dev/ttyUSB0 faithfully showed up in the USB-connected desktop's dmesg at every boot of either side.
Until it did not. And no more.
The desktop's USB port works fine with multiple other devices, including those in the same port - external disks, USB microphone, etc.
The OpenWRT on 2411 is up, but its networking is messed up, and I need console access to fix it.
Any advice on how to troubleshoot the console before I spend time calling Protectly's support?
