To move or not to move

I’ve been renting a 1 bed basement unit of a house since May 2020. It is a legal unit but only has 1 window that brings in a small patch of sunlight.
The apartment is about 900sqft and has a washer/dryer included, 2 parking spots and a patio with fenced in yard.

The only reason I’m staying is because my rent is about 1350-1400/month and I know once I leave they are going to increase this rent and I won’t find anything like this for this price.

The other apartments within my budget are bachelors, or basement units. The odd above ground one that might be in my budget doesn’t have similar or comparable amenities to what I have now.

I feel pretty trapped in this situation, my boyfriend is a student and has no income, so it’s on me to support the household for the time being.

What would you suggest?
Bite the bullet to move above ground or;
Suck it up until he finishes school

Mind you- it’s been 6+ years of basement life and I am SO over it :/

Thanks for your time and perspectives!

Parking at Sandbanks for Day Permit

I bought a day permit for Sandbanks this weekend. It’s going to be very nice weather so I anticipate the park will be packed.

Since I bought a day permit ahead of time, does that guarantee I will have a parking spot or is it a lottery?
I know the lines will be very long to get in and people recommend getting there before park open. I don’t mind having to walk to the beach but I’m mostly concerned on if I will have a guaranteed parking spot at the park.

I split a joint in half by accident, how to save it?

I don’t have any of my other smoking stuff it’s just the filter and the weed still rolled.
I went ahead and smoked the stuff that was on the filter side.

I’ve never rolled a joint so I’m not sure if there is a trick to fixing this?

Just wondering if it’s worth putting the effort in to try selling dolls that can be refurbished/customizing or used for parts?

Have you had luck selling dolls in poor condition (stained bodies, heads, short cut hair)
