A shocking video report out of Pallipalayam, Namakkal has exposed a deeply troubling dispute that pits the future of 200+ children against a commercial liquor license.
The Context:
Golden Nursery & Primary School has been operating successfully for 8 years, serving low-income families and children of daily-wage laborers.
Suddenly, education officials and the Tehsildar showed up to seal the school, citing a sudden discovery that the building lacks proper licensing/approvals.
The Real Story:
Parents and local residents have completely blocked the closure, alleging a massive administrative setup.
They claim the landowner is trying to open an FL2 private bar right behind the school. Under the current rules, the bar cannot get its license while a school is operating next door.
Parents are asking a very blunt question to the authorities: "Is a new wine bar more important to this government than our children's education?"
The Plea:
The school is only asking for a 6-month extension to complete an alternate building so the kids don't lose an entire academic year, have to change uniforms, or get pulled out of classes.

A new video from Salem (Seelanaickenpatti bypass) raises serious questions about the implementation of CM Vijay’s first major order to shut down 717 TASMAC shops.
The Video Summary:
• The person filming claims that instead of closing the shop near Cluny Vidya Nikethan School and the Ponnar Sankar Temple, authorities have simply relocated it to a larger, three-story building (SJ Plaza) on the opposite side of the Salem-Chennai Highway.
• He points out that having a massive A/C bar right on a major highway and within sight of a school/temple completely defeats the purpose of the 500-meter restriction rule.
• He calls out the "change" (Maatram) promised by the TVK, suggesting that local officials are finding loopholes to keep high-revenue shops open.
Is this happening elsewhere? It seems like some outlets are being "shuffled" rather than "shut." If the 500m rule is being bypassed by just crossing the street, the "Drug-Free TN" mission is going to hit a wall very fast.

Ban on alcohol.
This is a discussion thread to discuss merely the ban on alcohol. Provide examples and reseach papers, whether it will create a good impact in society or not with the current mindset of youngsters.
I will go:
I have never drunk, smoked. I am the holiest of the holiest MFs here and I will say alcohol ban will lead the human mindset to turn towrds the nearby 'bodhai', so smoking will definitely increase, I feel severely irritated if the area is filed with smoke and after smoke smell. Passive smoking will increase.
Humans are not pure souls and highly moral individuals. They will definitely move towards the next high giving substance.
High moral and self conscious individuals - they will try to avoid alcohol as it is not good. So in that situation even if wine shop was there they will not drink.
Just banning on alcohol without changing human mindset. It's a perfect cocktail for impending chaos.

Possibilities of the current political trend
Option 1 :
TVK is currently implementing
Gain 118 by pulling VCK CPM CPI and go to assembly.
Option 2:
Even if they do option 1 it is unstable ... Highly volatile.
So they need majority. They will definitely need a chunk of atleast 12-20 MLAs for a stable government.
To implement option 2, ADMK is needed. The possible option is EPS gets deputy CM or ADMK dissolves joining a faction to TVK.
Option 3:
DMK ADMK kootani.
This is a wet dream for many guys. It will not happen as DMK clearly stated their stance. They are highly accepting TVK to form a stable government and don't want a re-election clearly.
Option 4:
No majority, President rule soon.
Viable option for TVK - 1 and 2.
Viable option if it fails - 4
3rd option. Already diaper is wet for some guys, please change it.

My stand:
I won't and I am staying back, my support is not needed and they don't need the support, after-all I am just one guy. In this situation they can defend themselves, the peple voted for TVK will defend this derogatory statement.
So if I am silent I stand by the oppressor? -- I don't care, I am just gonna watch these and enjoy having a popcorn. I am gonna pretend I am a Hindu, stay closeted atheist and live my life for some time like this. I can't go against anything or anybody to stand for these statements.
