How do you feel investing knowing that stock value is what causes enshittification in the first place?

So most of us know by now the financial advice: "keep investing X amoung every month into the S&P500, a world ETF or something similar and you'll retire rich if things go as expected". We all want to have a better future through investments, but it feels like lately the only realistic option to get out of the rat race is to buy either real state or stocks. The first one is becoming unaffordable and almost a luxury in most western countries, and the second... have you ever worked at a big company? They live to make the stock prices go up. That usually happens when (1) they release a big product (2) they report good financials (3) they mass layoff and a few other reasons.

We're seeing everything get enshittified to death because companies never have enough profits. Its never enough ads, always newer ways to make even lower quality products, more expensive and so on. All of that because they want to see the stock price go up.

So then, you either invest in the market (indirectly promoting this) or stay out and see your money getting eaten by inflation.

What are your thoughts on this? I haven't started investing in the stock market yet but want to know your opinions
