Anyone know if the GPS is awarded to multiple students per year, or only one winner? Or has anyone been awarded one for this year yet? I cannot tell from Wayne.edu and past Reddit posts (from what I can see) if the scholarship is given out to more than one recipient or not; and when the award is announced.
Welp, just got an email that I sent over last week saying that the Financial Aid office has not started packaging graduate awards yet, but that they’ll do it within the next 1-2 weeks. I’m fine, everything’s fine… 🙃
Anyone in this subreddit completing the MM in Music Industry Studies program? I’m an incoming fall 2026 student for the Music Technology path under Prof. Park. Just figured that we could connect somehow before classes begin :)
So, I don’t know if because others are constantly calling about their financial aid package not being awarded yet, but the phone line for FinAid office seems to go to voicemail for me right away, and the office closes at 5pm, not like 3pm. Does anyone have any remaining leads as to when graduate aid will be awarded? I emailed them like 2 weeks ago and got a response 1 week ago saying that the FinAid Team is working on finalizing them within the next two weeks. I know that 1 week has only passed, but I figured that I call them to know generally what aid I would receive.
I’m an incoming grad student for one of the MM programs, and have a BSME from my undergrad at Umich. Though, I am a competitively amateur Oly-style weightlifter. So, does anyone know of or is in Oly-style weightlifting clubs, sports, and/or intramurals? I know that I can start a student club up, but just curious to know if one at Wayne already exists.
