FCA252 compatible power supply adapter
I already have 2 FCA252 MoCA adapters and they're working great. I bought a third FCA252 on eBay but the power supply that came with it isn't the original, I think. Although it's also 12V, has higher amp (4.1Amp vs my other two power supplies@400mA), and positive-tip, the FCA252 powers on but won't make a connection -- the MoCA light won't come on.
I tried the power supply from one of my 2 other FCA252's and it worked. So the FCA252 unit from eBay is good, it just won't work with the power supply that came with it.
I then tried the power supply that came with the eBay unit on one of my 2 working FCA252's and it won't work. So it's definitely the power supply.
I have 2 adjustable power supply adapters (both with 12V setting) and neither will work with the FCA252. I also have a spare power supply adapter with the same 12V and higher amp but it, too, won't work with the FCA252. The FCA252 powers on but won't make a connection -- the MoCA light won't come on.
Does anyone know what power supply (on Amazon, etc.) is compatible with the FCA 252?
