I don't know if they vibecoded it and didn't test it well or what, but every episode I play seems to slow down mid-way through and I need to reset. This wasn't an issue before. On Mint Mate here. Maybe focus on reliability and smoothness/speed over pretty new features.

Another note, when I tried to update on my main computer running debian, it requested new permissions for access to my Downloads folder. I decided to uninstall the program on that machine instead. Why does it need permissions for my Downloads folder? Overall unhappy with the new update but the app has been wonderfully useful in the past so I don't want to sound too overly critical.

This line was suggested to me, preventing b5 from black and controlling d5 which kind of seems like a maroczy bind (something I have never tried playing the white side of). I'm going to try it out in a few games when I have the opportunity and am curious people's experiences with it from the white and black sides. And, alternatively, resources for developing a Ruy Lopez repertoire for white
