Hi there,

This is the brine tank of my culligan water softener and this is the second time within the last few months its looked like this. I deep cleaned it the first time and it seemed ok for a bit but I just checked my salt level today and found this…. Google ai thinks it is failing resin and possibly components? I’m a fairly handy person but I’m slightly outside of my element when it comes to this so any advice on how to diagnose this and ensure I get the correct solution in place would be appreciated. I’d truly prefer not to pay for a service call and potentially hundred’s if not thousands of dollars to fix this but I am running off a well so it’s essential. Currently I did place the system in bypass.
