"No need for an NOC to change jobs" is a massive myth.

I recently received a job offer with a 50% hike in my package. I recently resigned from my current employer and applied for a position at ADALSA. However, my application was rejected under reason code 4. When I inquired with MOL, they informed me that the rejection was due to a lack of a NOC (No Objection Certificate) from my current employer. I have been employed with my current employer for over 1.5 years.

Recently I saw posts about "No NOC is required," and I feel all this is utterly a lie.

I don't know what options I have. Should I have to take my resignation back, or is there any option that I can go with?
