Hey all!

tldr: looking for a book buddy to read The Strain trilogy by Guillermo del Toro with and actually discuss it. Planning to start in the next few days.

I’m 31, read daily. I usually run 1 fiction book + a few nonfiction at the same time because it’s easy to switch between them. Got a big TBR list and I’m always open to other ideas.

Ideally I want someone who wants to regularly check in, talk about our progress, share thoughts/theories, what we like or don’t like, etc. We can take turns picking books after The Strain too. I prefer discussions over VC instead of just texting, feels more real.

My main categories right now:

Fiction - epic fantasy, mythology, adventure, philosophical speculative fiction, classics
Nonfiction - psychology, spirituality, existential philosophy, self-development, human connection
