I feel an idiot to ask this, but I'm not sure I'm doing it right...

I'm talking about the rise and fall on the black version (it should be the latest one).

There are small markers on the inner rail, but it doesn't click or anything and it doesn't look centered with the ground glass when I position the lens in that position.
