Thinking of helping a few people with their gym/fitness journey for free!
Hey everyone!
I've been contemplating posting something like this for a while, especially on Reddit lol, but figured this might be a nice way to connect with people who could use some help.
I'm 23, currently a uni student from nus and have been training consistently for a few years now. Fitness has become a pretty big part of my life, and I've genuinely enjoyed learning more about training, nutrition and how to make progress in the gym.
One thing I've noticed is that quite a few people seem to struggle with knowing what exercises to do, how to structure their workouts, whether they're progressing effectively, or even how to approach nutrition.
And honestly, with the amount of conflicting information online, I can see why.
So I thought I'd try something out!
I'm hoping to help around 5 people with their fitness journeys, completely free of charge.
Some things I'd be happy to help with:
- Structuring a workout routine around your goals
- Exercise selection, sets, reps and progressive overload
- General exercise technique and form guidance
- Understanding basic nutrition principles
- Tracking progress and making adjustments along the way
- Staying consistent and accountable
You definitely don't need to be experienced! In fact, if you're relatively new to the gym and feel a little lost, you're exactly the kind of person I'd love to help.
I'm keeping it to a small handful of people because I'd like to give everyone proper attention rather than just handing out generic workout plans.
For context, I'm not a certified personal trainer (although I am planning on getting licensed next year) or nutritionist, and this isn't a paid service or a sales pitch. I'm simply passionate about fitness, would love to share what I've learned, and hopefully gain some experience guiding others in the process.
If you're interested, feel free to drop me a DM with a little about your goals, training experience and what you've been struggling with.
We can chat on Reddit first, and if it seems like I can genuinely help, perhaps arrange a casual Google Meet to discuss things further.
Just hoping to help a few people out and hopefully make some friends along the way :)
Cheers!
