I just got a call from my auto shop, and my 08 Jeep Wrangler has too many issues to be worth fixing. (I had been getting regular maintenance and repairs at a different shop for the last 12 years, but they apparently missed a lot of the issues.)

I really don’t know much about cars- what’s a good brand, good price, what doesn’t hold up well, etc. I’ve only owned 2 different vehicles in my life and both were Jeeps.

I’m looking for an SUV, and here’s some of the things I would like:
• Decent gas mileage (I typically drive 200-300 miles per week, and I enjoy road trips. But pretty much anything is better than my current gas mileage.)
• 4WD or AWD (I live in a cold climate)
• Decent storage capacity
• Comfortable, as far as seats and passenger space
• Easy to park (I frequently travel to a city with minimal parking/tight spaces. I could do without this if it compromises the storage capacity and passenger space though, this one is the least important.)

I’d like to stay away from Jeeps because of the maintenance issues they tend to have. But other than that, I’m clueless.
