Best way to meet ppl around flomo

I’ve lived in Flower Mound most of my life, but now pretty much everyone I know has moved away, and I’d really like to meet more people locally.
I love going to Grapevine Lake (usually walking the trails or just sitting and doodling), and I’m hoping to find more ppl who are into similar things. I also love game nights, trivia, art, hiking, coffee shops, thrifting, music.
Are there any recurring events, clubs, or places around Flower Mound/Grapevine area? Even down to start volunteering somewhere or join an adults sports league!

EM EOR tomorrow… freaking out

Got my EM EOR tomorrow and I’m not feeling great about it.
Bombed my first EOR (women’s health), passed the retake, but this is my second one overall and I really don’t want to repeat that again as we can only re take one EOR before we meet with the academic committee to see if we get kicked out of the program.
Been having 12 hour shifts so Ive been reading the reddit guide/ doing UWORLD. Just took ROSH and got a 59%…feeling low as I need a 390 to pass tom :(

Any super high yield stuff I should lock in tonight? Also please drop any good quizlets I can look through. Any advice helps!!!!

Awareness post for women- scary experience at coffee shop

just wanted to make an awareness post for other women.

yesterday around 9:45 pm i was at Qamaria Yemeni Coffee on Westheimer by myself. a very large African American man, (probably around 300 lbs), walked in asking loudly for the restroom. after he noticed it was in use he came over and sat on the bench right next to me where i was studying.

he grabbed my matcha, poured it over his head and down his pants, then started touching himself while looking directly at me, laughing, and watching my reaction. i completely froze and started hyperventilating. there were several people in the coffee shop, including multiple men, who saw what was happening, but no one stepped in.

he then turned his attention toward the woman sitting on the other side of me who was on a date. her boyfriend finally told him to “chill out, man” while they packed up to leave. as soon as they got up, i grabbed my things and ran out too because i was terrified.

what really got me was that the men who sat there watching it happen walked out right after i did. they were clearly scared too, yet nothing happened to them because he wasn’t targeting them. it’s disappointing that they could recognize the danger for themselves but couldn’t find it in themselves to help when a woman was the one being harassed.

afterward my boyfriend called the coffee shop, and they told him this man is homeless and has apparently done similar things before to establishments nearby.

i’m sharing this because i want other women to be careful if you’re ever there alone, especially at night. i was fully covered in a button down shirt and pants from head to toe, and it didn’t matter. please trust your instincts. if something feels off, leave immediately. i hope this post helps someone avoid experiencing what i did.
